Modified Pistol box

This it the first version. Just replace the foam and cut out some blocks.

The start of the second version.

I removed the cluncky handle and will cover the holes with a polished steel plates.

I ripped out the closed cell foam padding.

The wood is actually venetial blind stock from SCIPLUS. The built up pieces are for the frort so it can clear the lock.

The wood frame will square up the inside. The side pieces are at a slight angle so an insert can be pulled out easily. The top will be just a half inch pad covered in suede.

I have 3" and 4" cushions in white and black vinyl. I also found some 4x5 black draw string suede-like bags in black.

Inside measurement are: 10.5 x 7.75 x 1.75

I should be able to make a 6 watch insert with the 3" cushions and maybe a 4 watch insert with <>a Wenger Bergeon watchmakers knife and my Nikon 990.
