I bought this Mauser from the Bass Pro Shop in Las Vegas in 2006. I was there to attend my first  Shot Show and the Mandalay Bay Gun and Knife show.  I saw Tom Seleck and John Milius at the Gun Show . I also met Detrich Apel and joined the German Gun Collectors Club. He had  Tom Turpin autographing his new book on David Miller Co.

Well here's the (semi) finished piece. The claw mounts are gone, replaced with square bridge Talley mounts, a  Spoon style bolt handle and 2 position safety. The bolt was polished.
